Who
PRODUMER is a developmental project managed by the Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) MEDA is a non-for-profit organization that aims to fund sustainable business solutions to the world’s poor.The $2.7M, 3 year project is funded by CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) along with a contribution by MEDA. The project addresses CIDA’s development and social priorities, including private sector development, basic human needs, food and nutrition, gender and development and conservation of the environment. PRODUMER coordinates activities with the Nicaraguan Government’s National Development Plan and Ministry of Agriculture (MAGFOR). |
